The Datasensing NX16SR/XCN-A010 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects in various applications, including automatic vending machines and environments with irregularly shaped items. This area sensor kit features 16 beams with a controlled height of 150mm and a beam spacing of 10mm, ensuring precise detection with a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters. Designed with an emitter and receiver function principle, the sensors provide an NPN output type with a normally closed (NC) output function. They operate at a switching frequency of 130Hz, with a rapid response time of 500µs for light-to-dark transitions and 7ms for dark-to-light transitions. The sensors are powered by an operating voltage of 10 to 26VDC, with a no-load supply current of 150mA for the emitter and 25mA for the receiver.
The NX16SR/XCN-A010 Sensors are built to withstand electrical challenges, featuring short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection.
