The Datasensing PFK1/BP-3H Sensors are designed with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. Equipped with a yellow LED status indicator, these sensors offer clear visibility of the output state. They boast an impressive protection degree of IP67, IP68, and IP69K, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. For environments requiring explosion protection, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. These sensors provide complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They are available in both standard and long-distance models, with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm. The sensors are designed for proximity functions with a PNP output type and offer both NO and NC output functions. With a switching frequency of 1.5kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are highly efficient. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 2V @200mA, ensuring reliable performance. The sensors are shielded for mounting and come with an M12 plug connection. They are lightweight at 55g and have dimensions of M18 x 1 / L = 63.1mm. The active head material is made of PPS, and the sensors can withstand a tightening torque of 50Nm. They operate effectively in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +80°C, with the capability to endure up to 100°C for short exposure during cleaning processes.
