The Datasensing PFM1/BP-2HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded standard design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP connections, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.24mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with advanced protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments. Constructed with AISI316L stainless steel housing and a PPS active head, these sensors are robust and durable, withstanding temperatures from -40°C to +80°C, and up to 100°C for short cleaning processes. They are IP67 rated for mechanical protection, making them resistant to dust and water ingress. The sensors are also ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, with approvals including CE, cULus, and ECOLAB DIVERSEY. The PFM1/BP-2HAN Sensors feature a high switching frequency of 2kHz, a low no-load supply current of ? 15mA, and a load current capacity of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 2V @200mA, ensuring efficient performance. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. With a tightening torque of 25Nm and supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are easy to install and maintain.
