The Datasensing PMW/0P-1HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in industrial environments. Featuring a robust M12 shielded PNP connection and constructed from durable AISI303 stainless steel, these sensors are engineered to withstand challenging conditions. They are certified for use in hazardous areas with approvals for II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 and II 3D Ex tD A22 IP67 T90°C, ensuring safety and compliance. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. They offer excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.02), aluminium (0.08), brass (0.20), and stainless steel (0.68). The sensors maintain high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. Designed for proximity functions, the sensors provide both NO and NC output functions with a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 100mA. The sensors feature a low output voltage drop of ? 2V at 100mA and are equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state visibility. Built with safety in mind, the sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They are designed for shielded mounting and come with an M12 plug connection. The active head is made from PPS material, and the sensors can be securely mounted with a tightening torque of 20Nm. The sensors are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, they have dimensions of M12 x 1 / L =64.6mm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, these sensors are built to last in demanding applications.
