The Datasensing SH2/E-2EIC Sensors are designed for optimal safety and efficiency, featuring a Type 2 safety photocell emitter with a nominal sensing distance of 5 meters. These sensors are equipped with a radial optic and a 90° M12 connection, ensuring seamless integration into various safety systems. Compliant with EN50100 Category 2 and Category 4, they are ideal for use with external safety control units that have an automatic optics test function, excluding the SBCR03 control unit. The sensors operate at a frequency of 123 kHz and are IEC61131-2 compliant, making them adaptable with any safety module. They boast a robust PBT plastic housing with an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring, with a yellow LED indicating power and a red LED for emission. With a thermal drift of Sr ? 10% and an effective aperture angle of ? ±5°, these sensors provide precise and reliable performance. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 5 Vpp. The sensors are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations, adhering to IEC600068-2-29 and 60068-2-6 standards. They are suitable for operating temperatures between -20°C and +55°C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +75°C, with a humidity tolerance of 15% to 95%.
