The Datasensing SH4-14-1200-SM-8 is a high-performance Type 4 safety light curtain designed for advanced safety applications. With a resolution of 14 mm, it provides reliable finger protection and features an extended monitored height of up to 1200 mm. The device boasts an impressive operating range of up to 10 meters, ensuring flexibility in various industrial environments.
Equipped with both manual and automatic restart functions, the SH4-14-1200-SM-8 offers enhanced safety through its EDM (External Device Monitoring) capabilities. The standard muting functions include 2-signals mono and bidirectional muting, as well as an override feature, all configurable via DIP-SW.
The compact profile of 35 x 40 mm, common to the SH4 line, allows for easy installation, further aided by LED indications of beam intensity. The optical synchronization with 2 beams ensures seamless operation, while the IP67 protection rating guarantees durability in harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -30 to +55 °C.
The SH4-14-1200-SM-8 is designed with zero dead zone technology and includes a complete couple and angular bracket in the package. It is also cascadable with the SH4 CASCADE, supporting up to three units for expanded coverage. The device features pigtails with M12 connectors and standard non-shielded cables, with integrated LED muting indication for user convenience.
