The Datasensing SH4-3-0800-SM-8-5 is a high-performance safety light curtain designed for body protection with 3 beams and a controlled height of 800 mm. It features an improved operating range of up to 70 meters and offers both manual and automatic restart functions, along with EDM (External Device Monitoring). The compact profile of 35 x 40 mm ensures easy installation, aided by LED indicators for beam intensity. This Type 4 safety light curtain is equipped with optical synchronization, zero dead zone, and IP67 protection, making it suitable for harsh environments with operating temperatures ranging from -30 to +55 °C. The system includes complete coupling and angular brackets, and utilizes M12 connectors for reliable connections. With a nominal sensing distance of 0.5 to 15 meters (default) and up to 70 meters (selectable long range), it provides robust safety with a resolution of 400 mm. The SH4-3-0800-SM-8-5 supports various muting functions, including L/T 2-signals muting, partial muting, and muting filter, with an override option. It is approved by CE, cULus, TÜV, and UKCA, ensuring compliance with international safety standards. The device is constructed from durable materials like painted aluminum and MAKROLON AR 7099 Clear PC, offering excellent resistance to shocks and vibrations.
