The Datasensing SH4-30-0600-S-8 is a high-performance safety light curtain designed for optimal hand protection with a resolution of 30 mm and a controlled height of 600 mm. This compact device features an improved operating range of up to 20 meters, making it ideal for various industrial applications. It offers both manual and automatic restart functions, along with EDM (External Device Monitoring) capabilities, ensuring enhanced safety and reliability. The SH4-30-0600-S-8 is built with a robust and compact profile measuring 35 x 40 mm, common to all SH4 line products, and is equipped with optical synchronization using 2 beams. It operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -30 to +55 °C and is protected against dust and water with an IP67 rating. The device is designed with zero dead zones, ensuring complete coverage and safety. Installation is simplified with LED indicators that display beam intensity, and the package includes a complete couple and angular bracket for easy setup. The light curtain uses infrared LED emission at an 850 nm wavelength and is resistant to external light interference as per IEC 61496-2 standards. With a nominal sensing distance of 0.2 to 20 meters, the SH4-30-0600-S-8 is equipped with 24 rays and an effective aperture angle of ? ±2.5°. It features a Type 4 safety light curtain classification with SIL 3, SILCL 3, PL e, and a PFHd of 8.40E-09, ensuring high safety integrity. The output type includes 2 x PNP-NO (OSSD safety output) with EDM, and it operates on a 24 Vdc ± 20% voltage with a load current of ? 250mA per output.
