The Datasensing SH4-30-0900-SM-8-5 is a high-performance safety light curtain designed for optimal hand protection with a resolution of 30 mm and a controlled height of 900 mm. It features an improved operating range of up to 20 meters and offers essential functions such as alignment and automatic restart. The device supports standard muting functions, including 2-signals mono and bidirectional muting, with an override option for enhanced safety management.
Configuration is made simple with DIP-SW, and the unit can be extended to a monitored height of up to 2250 mm. Its compact profile (35 x 40 mm) is consistent across the SH4 line, and installation is facilitated by LED indicators that display beam intensity. The SH4-30-0900-SM-8-5 is equipped with optical synchronization using 2 beams and provides IP67 protection, ensuring reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -30 to +55 °C.
The product boasts a zero dead zone and includes a complete couple and angular bracket in the package. Anti-interference codes and muting accessories are available, with prewired and preinstalled muting sensors. The unit is cascadable with SH4 CASCADE, supporting up to three units, and features pigtails with M12 connectors using standard non-shielded cables. Integrated LED muting indication enhances usability.
With a nominal sensing distance of 0.2 to 20 meters, the SH4-30-0900-SM-8-5 operates on an emitter and receiver principle, offering manual/automatic restart, EDM, and various muting functions. Supplied with standard "L" mounting brackets, additional top-bottom rotating mounting brackets can be ordered separately.
