The Datasensing SH4-30-1050-SM-8 is a high-performance Type 4 safety light curtain designed for optimal hand protection with a resolution of 30 mm and a controlled height of 1050 mm. It features an improved operating range of up to 20 meters and offers essential functions such as alignment and automatic restart. The standard muting functions include 2-signals mono and bidirectional muting, override, and manual restart, all configurable via DIP-SW. This compact device, with a profile of 35 x 40 mm, is part of the SH4 line and supports an extended monitored height up to 2250 mm. Installation is simplified with LED indications of beam intensity and optical synchronization using 2 beams. The SH4-30-1050-SM-8 is built to withstand harsh environments with an IP67 protection rating and an operating temperature range of -30 to +55 °C. It features zero dead zone technology and includes a complete couple and angular bracket in the package. The device is equipped with anti-interference codes and is cascadable with SH4 CASCADE up to three units. It uses pigtails with M12 connectors and standard non-shielded cables, and it integrates LED muting indication for enhanced safety. The product is approved by CE, cULus, TÜV, and UKCA, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
