The Datasensing SH4-30-2250-SM-8 is a high-performance Type 4 safety light curtain designed for advanced hand protection with a resolution of 30 mm and an extended monitored height of up to 2250 mm. This compact device features a zero dead zone and is equipped with a range of standard and muting functions, including manual/automatic restart, EDM, and 2-signals muting. It offers an improved operating range of up to 20 meters and is built with a robust, compact profile measuring 35 x 40 mm, common to all SH4 line products. The SH4-30-2250-SM-8 is engineered for ease of installation, featuring LED indications for beam intensity and optical synchronization with 2 beams. It operates efficiently in a wide temperature range of -30 to +55 °C and is protected against dust and water with an IP67 rating. The device is also equipped with anti-interference codes and can be cascaded with up to three SH4 units for expanded coverage. This safety light curtain is compatible with both incandescent lamps and LEDs for muting lamp output and includes pigtails with M12 connectors for easy integration. It is constructed from durable materials, including painted aluminum and MAKROLON AR 7099 Clear PC, ensuring long-lasting performance even in challenging environments. The SH4-30-2250-SM-8 is CE, cULus, TÜV, and UKCA approved, meeting stringent safety and EMC compatibility standards.
