The Datasensing SH4/E-0EIC Sensors are advanced safety sensors designed for high-performance applications. These Type 4 safety photocell emitters feature a nominal sensing distance of 10 meters, with a thermal drift of Sr ? 10% and a single-beam resolution. The sensors are equipped with an M18 plastic housing and an axial connection with an M12 plug, ensuring robust and reliable operation in various environments.
With an effective aperture angle of ? ±2.5° and a typical angle of ±1.8°, these sensors provide precise detection capabilities. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 5 Vpp. The LED indicators, including a yellow power indicator and red emission light, offer clear status visibility.
The SH4/E-0EIC Sensors are compliant with EN50100 Category 2 and Category 4 standards, making them suitable for integration into safety systems that meet EN ISO 13849 requirements. They are designed to be used with external safety control units featuring automatic optics test functions, excluding the SBCR03 control unit.
These sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and a storage temperature range of -40°C to +75°C. They are CE and TÜV approved, offering a high degree of protection with an IP67 rating. The sensors come with supplied accessories, including two nuts, and are designed to endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards.
