The Datasensing SH4/R-2EIC Sensors are advanced safety sensor receivers designed for high-performance industrial applications. These Type 4 safety photocell receivers feature a robust M18 plastic housing with a 90° M12 connector, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments. With a nominal sensing distance of 5 meters and a thermal drift of Sr ? 10%, these sensors provide precise single-beam resolution and controlled height detection. Equipped with LED indicators for easy alignment, the SH4/R-2EIC Sensors are compliant with EN50100 Category 2 and Category 4 standards, making them suitable for integration into safety systems that meet EN ISO 13849 requirements. The sensors operate at a frequency of 123 kHz and are designed to work with external safety control units that have an automatic optics test function, excluding the SBCR03 control unit. These sensors offer a totem-pole output type with a response time of 200µs for light/dark transitions and 400µs for dark/light transitions. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a load current of ? 70mA. The output voltage drop is 2.5V at 50mA, and the sensors can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 5 Vpp. Built to withstand harsh conditions, the SH4/R-2EIC Sensors have an IP67 degree of protection, are CE and TÜV approved, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +55°C. They are also resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC600068-2-29 and 60068-2-6 standards. Supplied with two nuts for easy installation, these sensors are an ideal choice for ensuring safety and efficiency in industrial settings.
