The Datasensing SST/0N-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring models with side sensing adjustment on both axial and right-angle optics, these sensors offer a selectable LO/DO output for versatile use. For environments requiring stringent safety standards, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. Each sensor is equipped with a LED status indicator, providing clear operational feedback. Engineered with complete protection against electrical damages, the SST/0N-1A Sensors boast an IP67 protection degree, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. They are CE and cULus listed, meeting international safety and quality standards. With a nominal sensing distance of 12 to 25mm and a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr, these sensors deliver consistent performance. The repeat accuracy is maintained at 5%, with a minimum detectable object size of 0.1mm to 0.25mm, making them ideal for precise detection tasks. The sensors operate on a blackground suppression principle, with an axial optic position and an NPN L/D selectable output type. They support a switching frequency of 1kHz and a response time of 500µs, ensuring quick and accurate detection. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, they consume a no-load supply current of ?30mA and support a load current of ?100mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ?1.2V@Iload=100mA, with a maximum ripple content of ?10%. Built to withstand external light interference up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight, these sensors are equipped with impulsive overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, and reverse polarity protection. The housing is made from nickel-plated brass with a PC cable exit, and the active head is constructed from PMMA, ensuring robustness and longevity. The sensors come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and are supplied with M18 x 1 nuts for secure mounting. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, the SST/0N-1A Sensors are designed to perform reliably without freezing, even in challenging environments.
