The Datasensing ST 18-A Sensors are high-performance inductive proximity sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a standard M18 flush mount design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 4.05mm. They are equipped with a 2m PVC cable and support both NPN and PNP output types with NO/NC output functions. The sensors are constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing, ensuring durability and resistance to industrial environments. With a switching frequency of 1kHz and a response time of 0.5ms, they provide fast and accurate performance. The sensors are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, and inductive loads, and feature a yellow LED indicator for output state. They are certified by CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSEY, making them suitable for use with industrial detergents. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc and can handle a load current of up to 200mA. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they are designed to withstand harsh conditions, operating in temperatures from -25°C to +60°C. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for easy installation and reliable operation in various industrial applications.
