Datasensing ST AX Column for L and T shape

The Datasensing ST AX Column is designed for L and T shape configurations, featuring an inductive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0…3.2mm. It is equipped with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offers correction factors for various materials: copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). The sensor boasts a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, this M12 standard flush mount sensor functions as a proximity sensor with an NPN output type and NO output function. It operates at a switching frequency of 2kHz and supports an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensor's no-load supply current is ? 10mA, with a load current capacity of ? 200mA and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, and it can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensor includes a yellow LED indicator for output state and features a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. It is equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensor is housed in AISI303 stainless steel with a shielded mounting and a 2m PVC cable connection. The active head is made of PBT, and the sensor can withstand a tightening torque of 10Nm. It is CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards. The sensor is designed to endure shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, the sensor has dimensions of M12 x 1 and a length of 49.8mm. It operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and offers mechanical protection rated at IP67.
