The Datasensing VM2/A0-2B Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for reliable proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded design with a NO (normally open) output, these sensors come equipped with a 2-meter cable for flexible installation. They operate on a multivoltage range of 20 to 253 Vac, making them versatile for various applications. With an IP67 protection degree, they are built to withstand harsh environments, ensuring durability and longevity. These sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360. They offer excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.50), brass (0.60), and stainless steel (0.80). The thermal drift of Sr is less than 10%, and they maintain a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, providing precise and consistent performance. The VM2/A0-2B sensors feature a TRIAC output type with a switching frequency of 25Hz, suitable for applications requiring rapid response times. They support an operating voltage of 20 to 250Vac at 50 to 60Hz, with a load current capacity of 5 to 300mA and a leakage current of ? 1mA RMS max. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator to display the output state, and they have a time delay before availability of ? 200ms. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are robust and reliable. They are designed for unshielded mounting and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure installation. With a tightening torque of 10Nm and an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, they are suitable for a wide range of industrial environments. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and they offer excellent EMC compatibility as per IEC 60947-5-2.
