The Leuze DDLS 200/120.1-40 is an optical data transmitter from the DDLS 200 series, designed for contact-free, bidirectional infrared data transmission over distances of 0.2 to 120 m with a ±0.5° beam opening angle and 880 nm wavelength. It supports Rockwell DH+/RIO protocols at up to 2 Mbit/s, operates on 18–30 V DC supply (approx. 200 mA without heating, 800 mA with), and features IP65 aluminum die-cast housing with integrated heating for -30 to +50°C environments, plus diagnostic LEDs for supply, mode, data traffic, and receive level. Typical applications include automated high-bay warehouses and conveyor systems with transfer cars, where cable-free real-time data links are required; mounting uses integrated plates and alignment aids, with M16 terminal connections.
