The Leuze DDLS 200/120.2-50 is an optical data transmitter designed for reliable wireless transmission of RS interfaces and fieldbuses at up to 2 Mbit/s over distances from 200 mm to 120 m. It features an infrared LED light source, F2 transmission frequency, 1° usable opening angle, and special versions for operation with parallel light axes and immunity to reflective surfaces. Supply voltage is 18–30 V DC with one digital switching input, and it supports interfaces such as CANopen, DeviceNet, RS 485, and PROFIBUS DP. Typical applications include industrial environments requiring non-contact data transfer across gaps or harsh conditions, with pre-mounting on a mounting plate for straightforward integration.
