The Leuze DDLS 200/120.2-10 is an optical data transmission system for reliable, contact-free communication over distances up to 120 meters in industrial environments. This infrared LED-based transceiver operates at 2 Mbit/s using PROFIBUS protocol and requires 1830 V DC power with minimal current draw (approximately 200 mA at 24 V DC under no-load conditions). The device features a highly directional transmission pattern with ±0.5° opening angle, making it ideal for applications requiring precise alignment across machinery, conveyor systems, and manufacturing lines where electromagnetic interference is a concern. Operation is rated from ?5 to +50°C and is unaffected by reflective surfaces. The DDLS 200/120.2-10 must be ordered as part of a matched device pair (one .1 unit and one .2 unit) to establish a complete bidirectional optical data path, with individual units transmitting at different frequencies to prevent signal collision.
