The Leuze DDLS 200/200.1-50-M12 is an optical data transmission system designed for reliable wireless data transfer over distances from 200 mm to 200,000 mm using infrared LED light source with a 1° usable opening angle on the transmitter. It operates on 18–30 VDC supply voltage, draws ?200 mA current consumption (without heating), and features an M12 connector for straightforward integration in industrial environments. Typical applications include fieldbus transmission such as PROFIBUS or RS485 up to 2 Mbit/s rates, suitable for harsh conditions with mounting options via M12 thread or pre-mounted plates, and compatibility with cascading multiple units.
