Description
The Leuze DDLS 200/200.1-50 is an industrial-grade optical data transmission system providing bus-capable infrared communication over distances up to 200 meters, achieving data rates up to 2 Mbit/s with full electrical isolation. Designed for RS 485, PROFIBUS DP, CANopen, and DeviceNet interfaces, this system employs frequency-separated dual-unit architecture to eliminate crosstalk while supporting cascading and integrated repeater functions for flexible fieldbus network expansion. The aluminum diecast housing with IP 65 protection and operating temperature range of -30°C to +50°C (with optional heating) makes it suitable for harsh manufacturing environments. Supply voltage of 18–30V DC and maximum output current of 100 mA (short-circuit protected) provide compatibility with standard industrial control systems, while UL and CSA certification, plus EMC compliance to EN 61000-6 standards, ensure reliability in noise-prone factory settings.
