The Leuze DDLS 200/200.1-40 is a contact-free optical data transmission system designed for real-time wireless communication over distances up to 200 m using infrared technology. This paired transceiver system transmits data at 2 Mbit/s via Rockwell DH+/RIO interface, with each unit operating at a different frequency to enable bi-directional communication without signal interference. Operating from 1830 V DC with current consumption of approximately 200 mA (no load) or 800 mA with integrated heating, the system features an infrared LED light source at 880 nm wavelength with a ±0.5° beam spread and is housed in an aluminum diecast enclosure rated IP 65. Ideal for gantry cranes, trolleys, conveyor systems, and transfer cars, the integrated alignment laser simplifies field setup, while the built-in web server enables remote diagnostics and system monitoring.
