The Dynapar DS616-PW10 is an absolute optical rotary encoder from the series, providing high-resolution single-turn (12-22 bit) and multi-turn (12 bit) position feedback with parallel interface output in binary, gray, or gray excess code. It operates on 5 VDC (-5%/+10%) or 10-30 VDC power supply, with intrinsic current consumption of 150 mA (single-turn) or 300 mA (multi-turn) at 5 V, and features ±0.01° mechanical absolute accuracy and ±0.002° repeatability. Mechanical specifications include 6 mm or 10 mm shaft diameter options, maximum continuous speed of 10,000 RPM, IP64 or IP67 enclosure rating, and environmental resilience to 1,000 m/s² shock and 100 m/s² vibration per EN 61326-1 standards, suited for demanding industrial motion control applications in manufacturing and automation.
