The Dynapar AD37S0020GZ.0W4W9 (SKU: G0571001) is a compact 20-bit single-turn absolute rotary encoder designed for functional safety applications in servo motor control systems. Featuring ACURO® link 4-wire RS485 interface and optical sensing technology, this encoder delivers ±36" absolute accuracy with ±10" repeatability across an operating range of -40°C to +115°C. Certified to SIL2 PLd and SIL3 PLe standards, it combines a 38.3 mm aluminum/plastic housing with stainless steel shaft, integrated double-Cardanic coupling hub, and a minimal 28 mm mounting depth, making it one of the most compact absolute multiturn encoders in its class. The encoder supports continuous operation up to 12,000 RPM, includes built-in encoder and motor winding temperature sensing, and provides 512 bytes of electronic data sheet storage for configuration and monitoring data.
