The Dynapar G0531001 (RI58-H/5000AS.37RB) is a rugged incremental optical hollow-shaft encoder from the H58/RI58 series, featuring 5000 pulses per revolution (PPR) resolution with squarewave A/B quadrature outputs and a 180° gated index pulse. It supports 5-26 VDC input power (80 mA max), RS422 differential line driver outputs (up to 100 mA sink/source), and 100 kHz frequency response, housed in an aluminum body with stainless steel shaft options (typically 10 mm hollow shaft), IP54/IP66 enclosure rating (with seal), and operation from 0 to +70°C standard (extended to +85°C available). Designed for high-shock/vibration environments (50G shock, 20G vibration), it suits motor feedback, CNC axes, packaging machinery, and factory automation with industry-standard 58 mm mounting, M12 or M23 connectors, and shaft loading up to 178-356 N radial/axial depending on resolution.
