The Leuze BCL 248i R1M 110 is a stationary 1D bar code reader from the BCL 200i series, designed for reliable reading of common codes including Code 128, 2/5 Interleaved, EAN 128, and Code 39 using a red light laser (class 1 per IEC/EN 60825-1:2014). It features a scanning rate of 1000 scans/s, reading range of 40255 mm (M optics, modulus 0.20.5 mm), raster scanning with lateral beam exit via deflecting mirror, and advanced functions such as AutoReflAct for reflector-based activation without extra sensors, code fragment technology, alignment mode, reference code comparison, and AutoConfig/AutoControl. Electrical specs include 1830 V DC operation, PROFINET interface via fixed cables (0.9 m PWR/IO M12 A-coded 5-pin, 0.7 m Ethernet M12 D-coded 4-pin), IP65 diecast aluminum housing (92 × 38 × 84 mm), and 040 °C ambient range with CE, CDRH, and UL certifications.
