The Leuze DCR 202i FIX-L1-102-R3-H is a compact, camera-based stationary 2D-code reader engineered for high-speed industrial barcode and 2D code identification. This device delivers decoding performance of up to 6 m/s with 10 decodings per sequence, accommodating a reading range of 40360 mm, making it suitable for automated production lines and logistics applications. The unit features IP 65 protection with a metal housing, integrated red LED illumination for the read field, and a green feedback LED for successful read acknowledgment.
Connectivity is provided via variously coded M12 connectors: a 12-pin A-coded connector for operating voltage, RS 232/RS 422 serial interface, and four freely programmable switching inputs/outputs; and a 4-pin D-coded connector for Ethernet communication. The device supports multiple industrial protocols including PROFIBUS, PROFINET, and EtherCAT. Configuration is accomplished through an integrated web-based tool (webConfig) requiring no additional software, with an installation wizard for rapid setup. The compact cubic design measures 43 × 61 × 44 mm with M4 mounting threads on rear and side surfaces, and the device includes two control buttons and a six-level bar graph display for intuitive operation and signal quality assessment.
The DCR 202i reads 1D codes (EAN, Code 39, Code 128, Codabar, Interleaved 2/5, and others), stacked codes, and 2D codes (Aztec, Data Matrix, QR Code, PDF417). Integrated teach functions allow automatic adjustment of exposure time, code type selection, and reference code learning. The device includes polarity reversal protection and MOSFET semiconductor switching.
