The Leuze LBK ISC BUS PS is a robust and intelligent safety controller designed for use with the LBK 3D radar safety system. Serving as the heart of a scalable radar-based safety solution, it integrates multiple LBK sensors to deliver reliable area monitoring in harsh industrial environments — even when dust, smoke, welding sparks, or humidity impair optical sensing technologies.
Engineered for maximum flexibility, the LBK ISC BUS PS provides a safe fieldbus interface that supports PROFIsafe, FSoE, or CIP Safety communication. This enables certified functional safety over industrial Ethernet networks without additional gateways, simplifying integration into modern machine and plant architectures.
With the ability to connect up to six radar sensors per controller and manage up to 24 sensors in a multi-controller configuration, the LBK ISC BUS PS offers scalable coverage for complex applications such as:
