the ml2b series incorporates both a brake and positioning scale with a mechanical joint rodless cylinder in one convenient package. the combination of these items makes repeatable multi-stop action and positioning possible. both the ceu1 (counter) and ceu2 (positioning controller) can be used with the ml2b. repeatability of ?0.5mm can be achieved when using the ceu2 controller. degradation of cylinder performance due to repeated use of the braking mechanism is eliminated as braking force is applied against replaceable side rail.
