The Schneider Electric LC1D18B7 is a TeSys Deca (TeSys D) three-pole nonreversing IEC contactor rated for motor control applications up to 18A at 690V under AC-3/AC-3e duty (7.5 kW at 400V). It is rated for 5HP at 200208VAC, 5HP at 240VAC, 10HP at 480VAC, and 15HP at 600VAC three-phase motor loads.
This contactor features a 24V AC 50/60Hz operating coil and three normally open (3 NO) power contacts. Built-in 1NO + 1NC auxiliary contacts are included as standard, with the NC contact mirror-certified per IEC 60947-5-1. Multi-standard screw clamp terminals provide secure, IP20 finger-safe connections with dual North American and International markings.
When paired with a 480VAC circuit breaker up to 60A, the LC1D18B7 achieves a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) up to 85kA. With a 600VAC 40A Class J or CC fuse, it reaches up to 100kA SCCR. The contactor supports operating rates up to 3,600 cycles per hour in environments up to 60°C, and its compact 45mm-wide design enables DIN rail or direct screw mounting. It is multi-standard certified to IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine standards, and carries the Schneider Electric Green Premium label for RoHS and REACh environmental compliance.
