The SMC 10-CJ2M16-100Z is a clean room specification round body air cylinder from the CJ2 series with a 16mm bore and 100mm stroke. Part number decoded: CJ2 = round body cylinder, M = modified series with modern design, 16 = bore mm, 100 = stroke mm, Z = auto-switch mounting band groove. The CJ2 is SMC's standard-profile round body cylinder, and the 10- clean series prefix adds fluorine grease, controlled assembly, and anti-static double packaging for particle generation grade 1 environments.

Unlike the compact square-body CQ2 series, the CJ2 round body design provides inherently longer stroke capability within a standard CETOP-compatible footprint. The 16mm bore delivers approximately 121N at 0.6 MPa through a 100mm stroke, well suited for medium-reach operations in clean room equipment including workpiece transfer, automated door actuation, extended push operations, and conveyor diverter mechanisms.
