When is a plug-in reducer needed? Clean room pneumatic systems often use different tube sizes for trunk lines versus branch lines larger 12mm tubes for main air supply runs that require high flow, transitioning to 6mm tubes for individual actuator connections where lower flow is sufficient and smaller tubes save space. The KGR06-12 provides this transition with a simple push-in connection on both ends: the 12mm tube pushes into one side, the 6mm tube into the other. No wrenches, thread sealant, or tools required.
Stainless steel (SUS316) construction eliminates particle generation from plating degradation, a common issue with nickel-plated brass reducers in clean room environments. For the reverse reduction (12mm to 6mm in a different flow direction), the fitting is bidirectional. For other size combinations, the KGR series covers transitions between 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm tube sizes.
