The SMC 11-CXSL10-30 is a clean room specification dual rod cylinder from the CXS series, the standard slide table platform. The CXS is the full-size variant of the dual rod slide platform, providing wider bearing spacing and higher moment load capacity than the compact CXSJ series.
The CXS dual rod design uses two precision-ground hardened shafts running through linear ball bushings to provide rigid, low-friction guided motion. The wider body of the CXS versus the CXSJ provides greater bearing separation, which directly increases resistance to moment loads (pitching, yawing, and rolling forces applied to the slide table). This makes the CXS the preferred choice when the workpiece or tooling mounted on the table creates significant offset forces or when higher positioning rigidity is required.
The CXSL10-30 is the standard CXS at 10mm bore with 30mm stroke. For the compact version at the same bore, the CXSJL10 reduces installation volume at the cost of moment capacity. For longer strokes, the CXS series offers options up to 100mm at 10mm bore. For larger bore CXS slides, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 32mm bore options increase force output and moment resistance. The CXS accepts D-series auto switches when the Z suffix is specified. Clean series (11-) fluorine grease. RoHS compliant.
