The SMC 21-CDQSB25-30DM is a copper, fluorine, and silicon-free compact cylinder from the CQS guided series. Part number decoded: CDQS = CQS double acting guided, B = both ends tapped, 25 = 25mm bore, 30 = 30mm stroke, D = option, M = modification. The 21- prefix designates Cu/F/Si-free construction for semiconductor front-end environments.

The CQS dual-guide design prevents piston rod rotation, providing precise linear motion. At 25mm bore with 30mm stroke, the cylinder generates approximately 29N at 0.6 MPa through a guided path. The Cu/F/Si-free construction eliminates all copper, fluorine, and silicon-containing materials from the air path, preventing trace contamination that could affect semiconductor processes. This is the guided compact cylinder equivalent of the standard 11-CDQSB series but with premium material specification.

The 21-CDQSB25-30DM provides the Cu/F/Si-free guided compact cylinder. For the standard clean room grade (11-) at similar specifications, the 11-CDQSB25-20DM provides the base clean room CQS. For Cu/F/Si-free standard cylinders, the 21-CDM2RB40TN provides the CM2R platform. For Cu/F/Si-free low-speed guided cylinders, the CQSX series may be available in 21- prefix. The DM option provides specific mounting/port modification. RoHS compliant.
