Description

The SMC 25A-CDA2F100-150Z is a secondary battery compatible air cylinder from the CA2 series with the largest 100mm bore and F-flange mount. Part number decoded: CDA2 = CA2 double acting, F = flange mount, 100 = 100mm bore, 150 = 150mm stroke, Z = auto-switch groove.

The F (flange) mount provides a rigid, concentric mounting interface that transmits the full cylinder force directly through the flange face. At 100mm bore, this generates approximately 471N at 0.6 MPa — the maximum CA2 force. Flange mounting is preferred for heavy pressing operations where the cylinder must be rigidly aligned with the press structure and all force must be transmitted concentrically without bending moments. This is the standard for heavy-duty pressing and clamping in secondary battery stack assembly.

The 25A-CDA2F100-150Z provides maximum force with rigid flange mounting. For auto-switch equipped, the 25A-CDA2F100-150Z-M9NL provides M9N sensing. For the 200mm stroke F-mount, the CDA2F100-200Z-M9NW provides extended travel. For smaller bore flange, the CDA2F40 and CDA2F50 provide reduced force. The Z groove accepts D-series auto switches. RoHS compliant.
