The SMC LEY32S3A-450-S2A1 is a versatile electric actuator from the LEY Series, designed for precision and efficiency. It features a rod type AC servo motor available in 100W and 200W options, making it suitable for a variety of applications. The actuator offers a long stroke capability of up to 500 mm and can be mounted directly in three directions or with three types of brackets. It supports auto switch mounting and provides speed control and positioning with a maximum of 64 points. Users can choose between positioning or pushing control, allowing the actuator to hold its position against a workpiece. With a positioning repeatability of ±0.02 mm or less, it ensures high precision. The actuator is dust and drip-proof with an IP65 rating, making it suitable for challenging environments. It is compatible with a range of controllers, including JXC51, JXC61, and others, although some models have been discontinued. The LEY Series also includes a high output motor option (100/200/400 W) for improved high-speed transfer and high acceleration compatibility up to 5,000 mm/S2. It features a pulse input type and an internal absolute encoder for enhanced performance. The actuator is compatible with various drivers, such as LECSA, LECSB(-T), and others, with some models no longer in production.
