smc's ncy3b cylinder series, when compared to the ncy2b, reduces minimum operating pressure by approximately 30% using a lubretainer. unnecessary body weight has been eliminated and the outer cylinder tube diameter has been reduced, making the ncy3b approximately 10% lighter. mounting dimensions are identical to the ncy2b with the exception of the 1/4" bore, allowing easy replacement. it is possible to order the 1/4" bore (ncy3b6) that is interchangeable with the ncy2b6 by adding the suffix x1468 to the end of the part number.
