Description
The Sprecher + Schuh CAZTT7-9-24Z-FDB/FCB-G0-L11 is a CAZTT7 series 2-speed, 2-winding variable torque motor starter rated at 9A with a 24V 50/60Hz AC coil. It features dual CEP7 solid state overload relays with 3.2–16.0A and 1–5A adjustable ranges in direct-mount configurations, providing independent electronic overload protection for each motor winding speed. Housed in a NEMA Type 1 general-purpose enclosure with no factory-installed control devices, this unit includes 1NO and 1NC auxiliary contacts for control circuit interlocking. The CAZTT7 design uses two contactors with mechanical and electrical interlocking to safely switch between high-speed and low-speed motor windings, preventing simultaneous energization. Variable torque 2-speed motors deliver torque that varies directly with speed, with horsepower varying as the square of speed. Applicable for centrifugal pumps, fans, blowers, cooling towers, and HVAC air handling systems where multi-speed operation reduces energy consumption during partial-load conditions in manufacturing plants and commercial buildings.
