The Turck IMX18-DI03-4S-5R-S/24VDC is a versatile isolating switching amplifier designed for robust industrial applications. It features four channels and operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC. This device is equipped with five relay outputs, including a separate relay output dedicated to collective fault signals, which is normally open (NO). Users can easily configure the amplifier via rotary and DIP switches, allowing for either 4-channel operation or signal multiplexing, which is switchable. The output mode is adjustable between normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) settings. The input circuits are monitored for wire break and short circuit conditions, with the option to switch this monitoring on or off. The amplifier ensures complete galvanic isolation and is protected against input reverse polarity. It features removable screw terminals for convenient installation. Certified for ATEX and IECEx standards, this device is suitable for use in Zone 2 hazardous areas and meets SIL 2 safety integrity level requirements.
