Description

The Wago 221-2401 is a compact 2-conductor inline splicing connector with lever actuation, using CAGE CLAMP connection technology for tool-free termination of copper conductors. It supports solid conductors from 0.2–4 mm² (20–12 AWG), stranded conductors from 0.2–2.5 mm² (18–12 AWG), and fine-stranded conductors from 0.34–4 mm² (18–12 AWG), with an 11 mm strip length. Rated 32 A / 450 V per EN 60664 (overvoltage category II, pollution degree 2) and 20 A / 600 V per UL 1059 (Use Group C), it is suitable for space-constrained inline connections in distribution, machinery wiring, appliance wiring, and panel builds where quick, inspectable terminations are required. The transparent polycarbonate housing with white cover and orange levers allows visual inspection of conductor insertion, and the 8.1 × 8.9 × 35.5 mm form factor can be used free-hanging or combined with optional mounting carriers for fixed, multi-pole wiring arrangements.
