The Wago 221-512 is a mounting carrier designed for 2-conductor 221 Series splicing connectors (lever-type) and provides a secure, organized method for horizontally mounting these terminals in control panels and junction boxes. It features a snap-in mounting foot for horizontal mounting and is suitable for conductors in the 24–12 AWG (up to 4 mm²) range used with the 221 Series connectors. The carrier is molded from polyamide PA66 with UL94 V0 flammability, and has a compact footprint (approx. 52.8 × 18.1 × 21.4 mm) for dense layouts in industrial and building installations. The white color aids circuit identification and visibility in enclosures, while the defined height from mounting surface (about 16.9 mm) supports clear wiring paths and strain relief. Typical applications include mounting groups of 221 Series 2-conductor connectors in machinery, switchgear, building automation junctions, and retrofit panels where plug-in splicing connectors are preferred but a fixed, rail-like arrangement is required. The carrier provides purely mechanical support for the connectors (no electrical ratings of its own); electrical performance is determined by the inserted 221 Series terminals.
