The Baumer FUF 025B2001 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a sensing distance of 240 mm. It features a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head made of aluminum, measuring 6 mm in width and 30 mm in length. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +250 °C and is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. It has a 60° exit angle but does not support adaptable or integrated lenses. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 25 cm long with a cross section of 4 mm², encased in a brass chromium-plated jacket.
