The Baumer FUF 025B2001 is a diffuse type fiber optic sensor with a smooth sensing head and a sensing distance of 240 mm. It features a cylindrical smooth fiber optic head made of aluminum, measuring 6 mm in width and 30 mm in length. The sensor operates within a temperature range of -25 to +250 °C and is compatible with infrared light at 1450 nm. It has a 60° exit angle but does not support adaptable or integrated lenses. The fiber optic cable, made of glass, is 25 cm long with a cross section of 4 mm², encased in a brass chromium-plated jacket. The fixed bending radius is 20 mm, and the mobile bending radius is 36 mm. This sensor is ideal for applications requiring high durability and precise detection in harsh environments.
