Description

Baumer IR06.P06S-N46.NC1Z.7SL 11148705 is a non-flush, cylindrical smooth proximity sensor with an enhanced distance feature (GammaProx) and a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm. It offers a temperature drift of ±10% (0 to +60 °C) and ±15% (-25 to +75 °C), with a hysteresis range of 3 to 20% of Sr. The sensor is equipped with a three-port red LED output indicator and operates with a correction factor of 100% for mild steel, 80% for stainless steel, and 50% for aluminum. It has a switching frequency of 400 Hz and requires a voltage supply range of 6 to 36 VDC, with a maximum current consumption of 12 mA at no load. The output circuit features an NPN break function (NC), with a voltage drop of less than 2 VDC and an output current of 100 mA. It includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's housing is made of stainless steel, with a PBT sensing face, and measures 6.5 mm in diameter and 46 mm in length. It connects via an M8 connector and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +75 °C. The sensor is IP 67 rated for protection against dust and immersion.
