Description

The Baumer OT300.GL-GLZZJ.72CU is a high-performance sensor equipped with background suppression and Time of Flight technology, offering a sensing distance of 100 to 1800 mm and a sensing range of 70 to 1890 mm. It features repeat accuracy of ? 1400 to 5500 µm and temperature drift of ± 15 mm, with a linearity error of ± 10 mm. The sensor includes a green LED for power indication and a yellow LED for output status, and it supports both Teach-in and IO-Link for distance adjustment. The device uses a pulsed red laser diode as its light source, with a wavelength of 680 nm, and operates in three response time modes: High Speed (< 4 ms), Standard (< 8 ms), and Long Range (< 50 ms). It is powered by a 12 to 30 VDC supply, consumes a maximum of 60 mA with no load, and features a voltage drop of <2 VDC. The output is a switchable light operate function via a push-pull / IO-Link circuit, supporting an output current of 50 mA. Safety features include short circuit and reverse polarity protection. The sensor's compact design measures 12.9 mm in width, 32.3 mm in height, and 23 mm in depth, with a housing made of plastic (ASA, PMMA) and PMMA optics. It offers a protection class of IP 67, operates between -20 to +50 °C, and can withstand significant environmental challenges, including vibrations and shocks as specified by IEC standards. The sensor is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications requiring precise distance measurement and object detection.
