Description

The Baumer PL240-140T54.UV0020.00 is a specialized sensor designed for adhesion compensation with a nominal sensing distance of 6 mm, adjustable from 0.5 to 6 mm. It features flush mounting, remote teach-in sensitivity adjustment, and contactless measurement capabilities. This sensor can detect non-conductive media such as water-based liquids and is capable of fill level detection through containers without direct contact with liquids. It operates on a 10 to 30 VDC power supply, has a maximum current consumption of 70 mA, and supports a push-pull output circuit with an output current of up to 50 mA. The device includes short circuit and reverse polarity protection, and is housed in a durable PP/PA rectangular body measuring 40x40x10 mm. It connects via a flylead connector M8 and operates within a temperature range of -25 to +60 °C. The sensor is shock and vibration resistant, adheres to IEC standards, and is rated IP 67 for protection against dust and immersion.
