The Datasensing AD1/AP-3A8R Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 5x5mm FE360. They feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) function, ensuring efficient proximity detection. The sensors operate at a switching frequency of 5kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 100mA.
Engineered with a robust AISI303 stainless steel housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering mechanical protection rated at IP67. The 10m PVC cable connection provides flexibility in installation, while the yellow LED indicator clearly displays the output state. Additional features include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads.
The sensors are designed for shielded mounting and come with two M5x0.5 nuts for secure installation. They are CE and cULus approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are compatible with EMC standard IEC 60947-5-2. With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5%, these sensors deliver consistent performance across a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
