The Datasensing AE1/AN-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With an IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for specialized needs. These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. The AE1/AN-1A Sensors have a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.21mm, with a standard target size of 8x8mm FE360. They feature a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions. The output type is NPN with a normally open (NO) output function, and they support a switching frequency of 5kHz. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. They ensure minimal leakage current (? 10?A) and a low output voltage drop (? 1.8V @200mA). The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. Designed for shielded mounting, the sensors have dimensions of M8 x 1 with a length of 45.5mm and weigh 45g. The housing is made of durable nickel-plated brass, and the active head is constructed from PBT. They come with a 2m PVC cable for connections and can withstand a tightening torque of 3Nm. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are CE UR approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, the AE1/AN-1A Sensors are a reliable choice for demanding industrial environments.
