The Datasensing AE1/AP-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an extremely reduced measure, these sensors come with a robust metal housing and a 360° visible LED status indicator for easy monitoring. With an IP67 housing protection, they are built to withstand harsh environments, and ATEX models are available upon request for added safety in explosive atmospheres.
These sensors offer complete protection against electrical damages, ensuring longevity and performance. Available in both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing, they cater to a variety of needs. The nominal sensing distance is 1.5mm, with an operating distance of 0 to 1.21mm, and they are optimized for a standard target of 8x8mm FE360.
The sensors feature a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function, and a high switching frequency of 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The design includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads.
Constructed with nickel-plated brass and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are durable and reliable. They are shielded for mounting, with a tightening torque of 3Nm, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, they are ready for immediate installation.
