The Datasensing AE1/AP-1A84 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M8 shielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 8x8mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions, offering a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function.
The AE1/AP-1A84 sensors support a switching frequency of 5kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, these sensors ensure quick availability with a time delay of ? 50ms. They are built with robust protection features, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensors are designed for durability and reliability. They come with a 3m PVC cable for easy connections and are supplied with two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. They offer excellent mechanical protection with an IP67 rating and are tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC standards. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
